Thai food
The food here is delicious. Some is very spicy but you can often ask the waiter or waitress to ask the chef to make it mild. I've had pad Thai which is a traditional Thai dish. It consists of noodles, vegetables, tofu & your choice of meat. You can add your own sauces and spices to your liking. I've also had a few curries which are serves with rice. There are many types of curries but the colour curries vary in spiciness. Yellow curry is the mildest then green, followed by red and the hottest is jungle curry. I've only gone as hot as green. I'm not as brave as some. Have you had a curry or pad Thai before?

The floating market
We caught a long tail boat down a canal and saw some catfish. There were so many. We got to feed them as well. There was a man who was at a dock who hung his basket down on a pole & we paid 10 baht for a bag to feed the fish. It was a cool idea.
We went late afternoon so we missed most of the floating market but there was one raft selling souvenirs that came to our boat. We had to haggle for a price but it was fun.
There are houses on both side of the canal. Some are very unstable & old and others are very fancy. It was a very clear identification of how much poverty there is here.
Were there some words you didn't know? Why don't you write them in the comments and someone who comments can answer it. How about you start with haggle and poverty.

A day with the elephants
We went to an elephant hospital where they take care of elephants & look after them until they are well. This is the only elephant hospital in the world.
We met 2 elephants that had list part of their leg. They crossed the border of Burma & Thailand which has many landlines. The elephants stood in one & that's how they lost part of their leg. They have special equipment to put on the stump so they can walk. These elephants have to stay at the hospital for their lives because there isn't any other facility that can care for them.
We then went to the elephant show where they pulled logs, bowed & did paintings. It was so awesome.
We then went riding on the elephant. That was an experience. It was very bumpy but loads of fun. The elephants would stop & eat then move on. There were some scary moments but overall it was so fun.

Day 3
Well our tour is in day 3 now but we've been in Thailand for four days now. It's extremely hot. I think it's around 29 degrees but the humidity is very high.
Today we cycled around sukhothai ancient temples on cruiser bikes. It was so much fun! A lot of history. We are now waiting for a bus to take us to Lampang.
Frostinais having a great time. She has had photos at the temple with us
The food is delicious. In Thai they say aroy which means delicious.
